Everybody has to go to school for a degree and a good job. Everybody needs to learn tons of things before getting a reliable diploma. So can we say that everyone needs to learn “learning” so that they will not have any problems at school? Yes, we can and today I’m going to tell you all about different styles of learning.
There are seven types of learning in total. These seven different types are: Visual, Aural, Physical, Verbal, Logical, Social and Solitary. These words may look too difficult to understand, so let’s simplify them a bit so that we can understand them better.
Visual learning is the type of learning that you do by using your eyes. Pictures, images and other visual learning materials are best for this type.
Aural learning is the type of learning that you do by using your ears. Music, sound, speaking materials are all best for this type.
Physical learning is the type of learning that you do by using your body or hands. You need a sense of touch for this type to learn better. You need to use your hands.
Verbal learning is the type of learning that is done by speaking. Maybe you need to memorize something and you do that by reading something out loud. Or maybe you need to summarize something out loud to learn better.
Logical learning is the type of learning that is done by mere use of logic. Mathematics or similar subjects are perfect for this type.
Social learning is a type of learning that you do with other people. You do this in group projects, for example.
Solitary learning is the type of learning that you have to do alone. Maybe you need to read some advanced book and you need to think about it by yourself.
These seven different types of learning summarize different types of learning.
Visual: Something related to seeing, to eyes
Summarize: To shortly explain something using few words
Reliable: Of good use, something precious
Solitary: The act of being alone
